Dr. Matt Mullins is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Lititz community.

Dr. Matt Mullins has been freeing people from pain in his clinic since 2005. As a Chiropractor with experience, Dr. Mullins is committed to promoting optimal health and well being of patients.

Dr. Mullins uses a “whole person approach”. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Mullins is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.

Qualifications:
Dr. Matt Mullins is the CEO, Founder and Clinic Director at Chiropractic 1st. He attended West Virginia University and received his degree in Exercise Physiology from the School of Medicine in 1997. While a student at West Virginia University he was an intern at HealthSouth Rehabilitation as strength and conditioning coach. Dr. Matt then graduated from Life University in 2002, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Along with his Chiropractic license, Dr. Mullins holds a license in x-ray as well as an adjunctive license in physical medicine. After working as an associate doctor in Pittsburgh he decided to start his private practice in Lancaster County in 2005.

Dr. Lee Pittsburg

Chiropractor
Dr. Lee Pittsburg has been treating Berks County for over the past two and a half decades. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania College of Chiropractic and received his Chiropractic Certification in Spinal Trauma through the Council on Applied Chiropractic Sciences, The International Chiropractors Association. Dr. Pittsburg continued his post-graduate studies in manipulation under anesthesia (MUA) through Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Pittsburg has also been called to the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania a number of times to serve as chiropractor for the American Idol Tour, Clay Aiken Christmas Concert, and So You Think You Can Dance Concert tour, to name a few. Whether providing Chiropractic to celebrity entertainers or our beloved Lancaster County, Dr. Pittsburg remains an advocate for anyone who wishes to remain healthy and feeling better.

Katherine Ruhl

 

Insurance Specialist
Katherine is our onsite insurance specialist. She graduated from Manheim Central in 2014 with the intent to pursue a career in the medical field. She previously helped with the wrestling team as a student athletic trainer which is where her love for holistic healing developed. Katie resides in Manheim with her husband and two dogs, Jasmine and Nollie. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outside and travelling. Her favorite part of working with us is watching our patients heal and improve through chiropractic care.

 

Kelly Scherer

 

Lead Chiropractic Assistant
Kelly is the lead chiropractic assistant in our office. She takes care of anything regarding patient care. What she enjoys most about leading our award winning team is helping her community feel better through chiropractic care. Kelly was new to chiropractic care prior to working with us and has since garnered a love for functioning at her fullest capacity due to getting adjusted regularly. Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with her roommates in downtown Lititz, taking her dog, Riley to the dog park, and visiting with her family.

 

Samantha Travitz

 

Back Office Lead
Samantha graduated from Manheim Central in 2010 and attended Lock Haven University for athletic training. She has ten years of clinical experience through volunteer work with numerous sports teams. Sam enjoys continuing her knowledge of the medical field. In her spare time, Sam loves to cook, play the violin and cuddle her two guinea pigs. Sam’s favorite thing about working with us is the constant opportunity to help someone in need and to put a smile on everyone’s face.

 

Kristin Weaver

 

Practice Representative
Kristin is one of our office’s Practice Representatives. She spends a majority of her day our in our community educating as many companies, businesses and individuals on the importance of chiropractic care and how we can help you heal. In her free time, Kristin enjoys gardening, volunteering as a high school youth leader at her church, and spending time at the beach. Her favorite part of working with our team is meeting a new patient during her community outings and seeing them heal through their treatment plan.

 

Vince Augello

 

Practice Representative
Vince has been with us since October of 2016. A Lancaster native, he attended Lancaster Catholic where he was a member of several championship football teams. He joins from the world of radio where he did everything from promotions to on-air disc jockey. Vince attended Clarion and Millersville Universities where he studied Public Relations and Communications. You cannot miss his office when you come in for an appointment. It’s the only one that is blasting Star Wars music and has action figures on the window sill. We are also fairly certain that in his spare time, he is Batman. As Practice Representative, he strives to spread the word about chiropractic care to anyone and everyone. His motto is “we try to get in front of as many eyes as we can so that we can treat as many spines as we can”.

Danielle Mitchell

Licensed Massage Therapist
Danielle is one of our licensed massage therapist and soft tissue specialists. She holds her degree from Cortiva Institute of Massage located in Boston, Massachusetts. Danielle was inspired to seek our alternative forms of health and wellness by using touch to increase circulation, function, energy and relaxation in the body as well as increasing its ability to heal. Outside of our office, Danielle enjoys cooking, baking and spending time with her husband and children.
 
Danielle’s areas of practice include:

Tamera Parrish

Licensed Massage Therapist
Tamera is our second licensed massage therapist, soft tissue specialist. She completed her schooling at the Baltimore School of Massage Therapy located in York, Pennsylvania. Tamera has always had a passion for helping others through the use of alternative medicine and therapies by using touch and aromatherapy.
 
Tamera’s areas of practice include:
Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, and Trigger point therapy
